Bernhard,
Thanks for the comment/tip. I reposted this on the new site. Thanks for letting me know you couldn't comment. I was doing some work on the site and in the processes allowing access to comments must have been turned of. Anyone should be able to comment now on the new site.

Thanks Again!

can't find another place to comment your latest "adding filters to SharePoint 2010 Wiki pages", maybe you can move this :-)

One workaround to use filters on Wiki pages (without SharePoint Designer) is to add the filter webpart (which now disappears). Then modify another (!) webpart on the same page and the filter webpart misteriously appears and now you can also edit its properties...

Cheers, Bernhard

THANK YOU! I wasn't having the problem you describe, but wasn't able to access my Sharepoint site from within Office applications after upgrading to Office 2010. This solved the problem!

Dave,
Sorry it took my a little while to respond. It's been a little busy lately. But, long story short - no, you do not need to do anything with SharePoint Designer. There is a setting (and for the life of me, I can't remember it off the top of my head), but it will automatically replace the OOTB SharePoint Rich Text Editor with the Telerik Rich Text Editor. I remember it being a very simple setting somewhere. I'm sure if you look on Telerik's site or Google it you'll find the answer. If I get a chance in the next couple days I'll find where the setting is and post another reply with the steps on how to do it.

Thanks and let me know if you have any other questions,
Ben

Hi,

This might be a dumb question, but how do I swap the Telerik Rad Editor into a discussion post form? Do I need to use Sharepoint Designer to create a new edit form?

Thanks!

Rob,
Glad this could help you out and thanks for the note about the typo :) I went back and corrected it. I didn't think I could get away with a blog post that long without any typos.

Hi Ben,
First off, Thanks a ton! I am install SharePoint 2010 at my org and was looking for some soup to nuts guidance - this post id great. I did come across a VERY small typo - in the steps to set up search, specifically item 12, the variable is $scid.id I think it should be $csid.id. Once again thanks for compiling this!
